Why Portfolders?
During any unit of study, students are encouraged to ask questions, find the answers to their questions, and communicate what they have learned with others. The portfolders show not just bits and pieces of a unit study, but demonstrate the entire learning process. As an assessment tool, the portfolder communicates what children are able to do as well as what they have come to understand. And, incidentally, portfolders are a lot of fun, too! If you would like to be informed of new information regarding portfolders and our latest curricular adventures, please join our webgroup, Candle in the Window. | |
