When planted in a hedge, Arborvitae makes a lustrous green background for your landscaping projects. With proper watering, fertilizing and care, they can grow in excess of one foot a year in most parts of the country. It grows quickly in most soil types and can reach up to 18 feet in some areas.<br /> </p></li> <li> <p align="left"><b>WHY THE EMERALD GREEN VARIETY?</b> We have chosen to specialize in this variety because of it's resistance to the "drooping limb" some of the other varieties experience after time or with snow and ice. The EMERALD GREEN ARBORVITAE holds it's beautiful conical shape, has a richer green color in all seasons and can be allowed to grow natural or be "topped" to make a straight line.
