Among different hats I like to wear is that
of teacher, especially when the teaching/learning is in the lab. So the
purpose of this page is to provide a little fence gate students can use
to access internet resources of the chemistry variety!

Where to find MSDS's on
the Internet . Dr. Rob Toreki maintains this useful page on MSDS's.
He gives links to several different sites, in addition to information about
what an MSDS is and how to get information from it.

Vermont Siri MSDS Site.
A University of Vermont site with links for MSDS and toxicology reports.
It also provides directions for downloading their files as .zip or .tar
files by FTP.

Mallinkrodt Laboratory
Chemicals. This online catalog site allows you to check
for MSDSs for Mallinkrodt chemicals.

, an affiliate of Merck, permits searching by name or by various numbers,
such as CAS number. In addition, you may do multiple searching.

site has a search form for chemical msds's at the U. of Missouri-Rolla;
will search sigma and aldrich catalogs. When I tried it, it did not permit

Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry maintains a page where
you can obtain information about the hazardous substances found at hazardous
substance sites and about their impacts on human health.

Catalog Search. Sigma-Aldrich permits a catalog search
on its site; at this page you can request MSDS information.

interestingly, it now offers a monthly guest lecturer on chemistry topics

dogma of life; another is on HIV-1, its causes and relation to AIDS.

list.Yahoo has a great list of chemistry resources, updated an a regular
basis.
