This is the Most Basic Page. Use the "view source" choice up in the menubar to look at how it was made. HTML uses tags.
The entire document should start/stop (be enclosed by) the tags "html" because this is an HTML document. Each tag is enclosed in angle brackets, and the closing tag always has a slash in front of it.
Inside the "html" tags are two sections, the "head" (with its own start/stop tags) and the "body" (also with its own start/stop tags).
Inside the head is a title (which you can see up in this window's top bar). Inside the body is all this text.
Make sure you see the head,head pair, the body,body pair, and so on, while viewing the "source" of this page. Every html page should have ALL of these parts. next
