Before viewing images on this site, please adjust your monitor using these charts. In most cases, "contrast" (gain) should be set to maximum, but you may have to reduce it if the black lines in the white square become blurred. Then adjust "brightness" (black level) such that the center of the black square is just barely lighter than the surrounding area. You should then be able to see all 26 levels in the white-to-black strip. |
