Prelude “Prelude on ‘O Store Gud’” By Lorenz
Welcome
*Call to Worship
Leader:
Our lives become hectic with many distractions. We are bombarded with information, advertising, e-mail, snail-mail, radio, television and cell phone
calls.
People: We come here to shed the distractions, and to find the quiet
center of Your divine presence!
Leader: The pace of life and the needs of those around us drive us faster and farther than we would
like. We long for simpler days, yet know they are past and irretrievable.
People: Christ is our quiet center in the hectic life we live!
Leader: In everything we do, we can feel the presence of the Lord, guiding our
decisions, warning us of danger and filling us with confidence.
People: Christ is our still point in the turning world! In Him we can find peace! PRAISE GOD!
*Hymn “I Am Thine, O Lord” Hymnal #419
Greeting One Another in the Spirit of Christ
*Song “Bind Us Together” FWS #2226
Bind us together, Lord, bind us together with cords that cannot be broken. Bind us together,
Lord, bind us together, Lord, bind us together in love. There is only one God, there is only one King;
there is only one body, that is why we sing.
Children’s Time
(All children are invited forward. At the end of the Children’s Time, children ages 5 and younger are excused to childcare - ages 6 and older stay in worship with activity clipboards.)
*Song “Come and Find the Quiet Center” FWS #2128
Prayer’s of the People
Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

May you run and not be weary. May your heart be filled with song.
And may the love of God continue to give you hope and keep you strong.
And may you run and not be weary. May your life be filled with joy!
And may the road you travel always lead you home.
